Changes and Cancellations
Changes can be made up to the day before departure by rebooking the journey through ArlandaExpress.com. You will need to make an account on their website and then rebook through their website. Tickets bought online cannot be refunded, it is only possible to cancel tickets at the ticket counters.
It is not possible to reserve seats with Arlanda Express.
Arlanda Express guarantees the travel time of 20 minutes, so if you are more than 5 minutes late to your destination you can request a new ticket.
If you are delayed more than 20 minutes you can receive either request a refund or claim compensation for the replacement transportation you had to use (up to a limit of around SEK 1100). Depending on how long you are delayed, you will re. Delays of 20 minutes will give a refund of 50%, 40 minute delay will give 75% refund and a delay of 60 minutes or longer will give you a 100% refund.
If your journey takes more than 50 minutes onboard an Arlanda Express train, causing you to miss other travel connections, you are entitled to reimbursement by Arlanda Express up to the a limit of approximately SEK 13000.

With Arlanda Express an Infant ticket is valid for travellers between 0 - 8 years old. A Youth ticket is for anyone between 8 - 17 years old. Adults are considered anyone 18 years old and above.
The trains are built large enough to transport all sorts of passengers with all sorts of luggage. Baggage can be placed in racks located at the carriage doors. The highest permitted weight per item is determined by your airline.
Dogs and other small pets can be transported on Arlanda Express trains in a cage or similar container, in line with airline regulations. They may be brought onboard in specially assigned sitting areas. Guide dogs, as personal help for visually handicapped travellers, are allowed to travel with their owners in all other sitting areas.
Bicycles can be brought onboard Arlanda Express trains, the bicycle does not need to be packaged. Arlanda Express recommend that the handlebars of the bicycle is turned so that they lie along the length of the bicycle to save space.
Persons with visual or mobility impairments
When travelling with Arlanda Express, persons with mobility impairments who are confined to wheel-chairs and those with visual impairments may be accompanied by an assistant free of charge. A special area for wheelchairs and a spacious WC with a nursing table are located in one of the mid-train carriages of each train.
Guide dogs may accompany their owners at no additional cost in all carriages on the Arlanda Express.
The Arlanda Express provides assistance from the platform at Arlanda Airport to the respective terminals and airlines. Let the train attendant know at the beginning of the journey if you will need assistance from the station to the terminal, they will then help you to arrange that. There are also so-called "pick up points" at the stations at Arlanda where you can arrange assistance via intercom.
If arriving to Arlanda airport by air, please contact your airline for assistance in reaching the Arlanda Express station. Travellers arriving at Stockholm Central Station with other railway companies for transfer to the Arlanda Express will need to call SJ customer service at + 46 771 75 75 99.
Prams/strollers and wheelchairs
There are specially designated spaces for wheelchairs and prams/strollers onboard Arlanda Express trains, normally found in one of the train's mid-train carriages.
